Run to a Corner Game for Kindergarten Students

Hello Fellow ESL Teachers!

Welcome and thank you for visiting ESL Teacher today! We really appreciate it =)

Today I want to introduce a game to help kindergarten students learn English and exercise.

Method

1) Put words that you want the students to learn in the corners of the room. One word in each corner.

2) Tell the students to run to the corner with the correct word.

3) Say a word and watch them run and have fun.

4) Say another word, and so on.

NOTE: this game is noisy and you have to clear the space so that the kids have enough room to run around safely.

ENJOY THE GAME!

The Oxford Picture Dictionary, 2nd Edition, Lesson Plans

Hello fellow ESL Teachers, ESL Tutors and compatriots!

Welcome to ESL Teacher, a truly exciting blog on how to teach and learn ESL. Thank you for your visit!

Today I recommend that you buy The Oxford Picture Dictionary Lesson Plans (Oxford Picture Dictionary 2e).

It has ready made QUALITY lesson plans for you. In addition, it has the same page that the students see in their books (reduced in size to fit your book). It's the ESL Vocabulary Teaching BIBLE.

Do I need to say more?

Pointing as a Learning Tool

Hello fellow ESL Teachers!

Welcome to ESL Teacher, an awesome blog here for you always!

Today we discuss having students point to things to improve their listening ESL comprehension.

When you tell students to point, they can take a physical action to re-enforce their listening ESL comprehension. It's also a fun and easy activity!

Thanks, and as always, please leave comments!
